Gracefully Gourmet is a bakery with a purpose—supporting the work of Place of Grace, a residential recovery program helping individuals rebuild their lives after incarceration and addiction. Every product we create contributes to life change, job readiness, and second chances.

We are looking for a Creative Specialist to bring both artistry and innovation into our bakery offerings. This role blends contract-based custom work with hourly in-store support, ideal for someone who loves creating beautiful desserts and developing new, high-quality products.

Role Overview

This position includes two types of work:

1. Contract Work (Custom Orders)

• Design and decorate custom cakes based on client requests
• Execute high-quality, consistent, and visually appealing finished products
• Work independently on orders with agreed-upon pricing per project

2. Hourly In-Store Support

• Assist with decorating in-store items (cakes, cupcakes, cookies, seasonal items)
• Support production of specialty items (cookie cakes, cinnamon rolls, etc.)
• Collaborate on developing new bakery and popcorn products
• Contribute creative ideas that align with our brand and simplify production

• Ability to work independently on custom orders

Position Details

• Hybrid role: contract (custom orders) + hourly (in-store support)
• Flexible scheduling based on order volume and bakery needs
• Contract pricing for custom cakes will be based on design and complexity
• Hourly rate based on experience
